Custom Tattoos
Every tattoo starts the same way: with your idea. That might be a clear concept, a folder of reference images, or just a rough sense of what you’re after — all of it is enough to start a conversation. From there, Luke works with you on how the design should actually sit: placement, size, and how it reads on the body, not just on paper. It’s a relaxed process, not a rushed one.
Cover-ups
Thinking about covering an existing tattoo? It’s worth talking through properly — what’s realistic depends on the tattoo you already have, its size, colour and placement. That’s exactly what the consultation is for: working out together what can be done with it, rather than guessing from a photo alone.
This guy has talent in buckets. I’m the proud owner of the Star Wars sleeve — but what Luke doesn’t say is that it’s also a cover-up of 2 decent-sized old tattoos as well. Amazing job. — Ian Hodgson
Memorial tattoos
A memorial tattoo carries more weight than most, and it’s treated that way. Before any design work starts, there’s time to talk through what the piece needs to represent — what it’s for, and what matters most about getting it right. There’s no pressure to have that fully worked out before reaching out.
The first tattoo I got with Luke was a memorial tattoo for my dad, and Luke did an amazing job — took the time to make sure it was something unique and special. Since then I’ve been returning for many sessions and completed a full arm sleeve, half arm sleeve and a half chest, plus an amazing job covering 15+ year old tattoos. Would never think of going anywhere else — 100% recommend him. — Tony Glaister
Sleeves & larger projects
Bigger pieces — sleeves, and other larger projects — are planned rather than approached the same way as a single small tattoo. The design is built up in a way that makes sense for the scale of the piece, and the details of how that works for your particular project are part of the consultation itself.
Full Vikings sleeve, including a cover-up of an old tattoo. Perfect from start to finish. Realistic and top quality. Highly recommend. — Ricky Morrison
First tattoo? That’s fine too
You don’t need to already know exactly what you want. The same process applies whether it’s your first tattoo or your fifth — bring whatever you’ve got, even if that’s just an idea of the general area you’d like to start with, and go from there together.
I’ve been coming to Luke for 3 years and every single time he blows me away with his talent, passion and attention to detail. I would highly recommend him to absolutely anyone, whether it’s for your first tattoo or first time with him. Get booked in for the most beautiful tattoos ever! — Tyler-jack Richardson
